Memorial Day Tribute

Today we pay tribute to Distinguished Service Cross recepient, Eric Fisher Wood, of Bedford, PA, who waged guerrilla warfare against the Germans in Belgium's freezing Ardennes forest.

This clip is from the film The Americans in the Bulge. We would also like to open our comment section for your Memorial Day tributes.

  1. Today, my thoughts today are with my Grandfather, Dr. Robert Beckley, who served in the Pacific theater during WWII and who now lives in Chapel Hill, NC. Also, my great aunt, his sister, who served with the Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASPS), and with the Red Cross in WWII. Stories told by Grandpa and Aunt Eleanor continue to inspire me. Thank you, veterans of the Armed Services, for your sacrifices and commitment to helping our country.
